Here is a selection of the nosebands that we make. All of them are suitable for general riding. Some have specific uses and we suggest you take advice on which are acceptable for the type of riding you are doing.

	PLAIN CAVESSON NOSEBAND   Available in a wide range of widths to suit your horse or pony’s head. Please ask for advice on this. Can be used for mountain and moorland, cob and hunter. Prices from £34.40
	LIGHTWEIGHT RAISED CAVESSON Variable in 1/2’’, 5/8’’, or 3/4’’ widths. Please ask for advice on widths. Can be used for ridden arab, riding horse/pony, first ridden and lead rein, hack, show and working hunter. Prices from £39.65
	HEAVYWEIGHT RAISED NOSEBAND Available in 1’’, 11/8’’, or 11/4’’ widths. Please ask for advice on widths. Can be used for riding horse, sports horse, show and working hunter. Prices from £43.65
	PADDED RAISED CAVESSON Available in 1’’, 11/8’’, or 11/4’’ ( width includes padding) Can be used for sports horse or dressage. Prices from £44.95

	DROP NOSEBAND When fitted correctly the drop noseband keeps the mouth closed. This allows the bit to have better contact with the bars of the mouth and produces more flexion. Useful on hard pulling or young horses or ponies. Widths to suit size of horse or pony. Prices from £37.80
	GRAKLE NOSEBAND A figure eight noseband which keeps the mouth closed and stops the jaws from crossing. Useful on hard pulling horses or ponies. Widths available 1/2’’ or 5/8’’. Prices from £34.35
	HIGH RING OR MEXICAN GRAKLE A figure eight noseband which is fixed to rings and sits higher than the ordinary grakle. Widths available 1/2’’ or 5/8’’. Prices from £44.95 (price does not include headpiece, cheekpieces, browband, reins or bit.)

 

OPTIONS:

All nosebands can be made with the following choices:

• Leather colour: Black, Dark Havana, Australian Nut, Chestnut or Tan.
• Fittings: Stainless Steel or Solid Brass.

With the exception of the drop or grakle nosebands you can have a buckle or crank fitting. The prices quoted are for buckle fittings. If you prefer to have a crank fitting please add £15.00 to the cost of the noseband you require.
